This publication documents and frames the project series Zu Tisch! first initiated in 2015 by Lena Knilli. Zu Tisch! is a spatial installation: The table is set for six people and framed by Lena Knilli's work – two monochrome yellow paintings as well as a series of drawn collages. The reading of the drawings and paintings enters into an in-depth dialogue with the biographical content of the table conversations. To date, Lena Knilli has invited people with different backgrounds and experiences to table conversations on the topics of migration biography, multilingualism, leaving, arriving, school, family and social engagement in Vienna, Graz, Admont, Braunschweig and Hannover. Zu Tisch! Ein Lesebuch für Krisenzeiten. is the catalogue of the participatory spatial installation Zu Tisch! and a reader of the table discussions.
